Before the jury can be educated relative to the DNA issues the Defense Attorney needs to have some background on the technologies involved. An overview of these technologies will be presented including issues that impact the accuracy of the DNA evidence. Two case studies will be presented. The meeting participants will be led step by step through the process of demonstrating the short-comings of the evidence provided to jurors.
